Hi Panu, they are produced in the NTSC format. However, most DVD players made the last few years in “PAL” regions play the NTSC format just fine… as do computers.
Thanks for your response, but it is not picture encoding I am worried about, but dvd disc region encoding. For example if region is set to 1 (North America) would make it unplayable to majority of players elsewhere in the world.
