It's my job to communicate all things lean, so I've been reading blogs about the process. (just so you know who I am) I also just bought a new car. I wanted a corolla or a civic - you know gas prices and all - but the thing that swayed me to my new civic was toyota's poor customer service. I know that has nothing to do with takt time, but it does affect the bottom line. I work in a PR/marketing department at an organization 2 years into lean/sigma transformation.
